About Us

We are two high school students born to mothers who were the first in their families to attend college in the U.S. Our grandparents immigrated from Vietnam, and our moms had to navigate the American education system on their own. Thanks to the help of teachers and community resources who helped them learn to read and write in English, our mothers went on to college and grad school.

We were fortunate to have grown up with a love of reading and an abundance of books, which our mothers gifted to us. Inspired by their story, we wish to pay it forward by helping youth in need, knowing that the power of understanding words on a page is a pathway to a more enriched life, not only for today’s youth but also for tomorrow’s children.
